The person who gave this to me said he had looked into the skeleton's history, and knew it to be an African male who had died of a tooth abscess. You can see where the infection had damaged so much of the bone that it had come up through his eye socket.

She managed to really sell its usefulness to me so well that within a couple of days I had an appointment to have mine done too. (That is the one that is still there.)

Every time I sat down, they would pinch together so painfully that I would gasp and all the color would drain from my face! (Yup - also at work. Yup, I also told them exactly what my problem was.) When I took it out, it looked even longer than I thought it was because it was curved!!!

At least the story has a very happy ending:
Once it had healed, I was REALLY anchored to that mirror worse than before!!!! (It was handy it was right beside the bed so I could put my feet up on it.) I could NOT STOP playing with it/myself!!!!! I would try, but I'd just circle the apartment and end up right back at my mirror!
